ORTIS

ORTIS is built using a six axes industrial robot with the addition of a rotary table, for a total of seven interpolated axes.

A high speed electro spindle is installed on the robot wrist allowing you to use the machine as a complete multi-axis milling centre.

LaDepending on the chosen configuration, ORTIS can allow both manual and automatic tool change;
this makes really easy carving body jackets, AFOs and KAFOs, arm braces, seating systems or cutting and profiling thermoplastic covers.

A system tailored for prosthetics and orthotics

By using ORTIS, you can quickly produce any kind of model for the production of tailored prosthesis and orthosis: from AFOs and KAFOs to body jackets, from aesthetical covers to mattresses and seating systems, from AK and BK sockets to helmets.

The system allows to work with polyurethane, from 80 to 800 kg/m³ density, as well with other "soft" materials like plaster, resin, plastic, soft foam, as well as almost any other dry-millable material.
